Bahrain Grand Prix Odds

The 2010 Formula One World Championship gets underway this weekend, with the Bahrain Grand Prix kick starting the proceedings, and the odds are certainly hotting up.

Thursday sees a press conference, followed by a couple of days of practice and qualifying sessions, with the main event taking place on Sunday afternoon.

Current odds are suggesting Ferrari’s Fernando Alonso is the man to beat at $3.75. The two time driver’s championship winner is also leading the odds for the fastest lap and pole position at $4.50 and $4 respectively.

Drawing the media attention coming into the opening grand prix is the Mercedes GP driver Michael Schumacher who has relatively low odds of $8.

Lewis Hamilton from McLaren could be a strong contender to cross the finishing line first on Sunday going into the race at $5.
