2010 Superbike World Championship Preview & Odds

The 2010 Superbike World Championship, the 23rd of its type, has completed one of its 13 rounds – but the odds are still open as to who will come away as the driver’s champion.

While the Australian leg of two races took place at the Phillip Island Grand Prix Circuit in February, and was won by Leon Haslam and Carlos Checa, the two drivers’ odds to win the overall championship at $5.50 and $8 respectively.

However the favourite to win is three-time runner up for the motor bike racing Championship, Noriyuki Haga, at $4.

Joint in second spot at this point in the season is Jonathan Rea and Michel Fabrizio along with Haslam at $5.50. Rea is entering into his second campaign in the sport, and finished fifth last year, while Fabrizio finished third.

The 2010 Season spans the world, and will culminate in France at the Magny-Cours Superbike World Championship round, on October the 3rd.
