Jimmie Johnson Wins 2010 Food City 500 With Historic Victory

Jimmie Johnson will go down in history as the 12th driver to ever win 50 NASCAR Sprint Cup events after coming home first in the 2010 Food City 500.

After taking the lead from Tony Stewart in the last six laps, Johnson never looked back, giving the driver his first ever win at the Bristol International Raceway.

Finishing third in the 2010 Food City 500 was Kurt Busch, while his younger brother Kyle Busch who had been favourite to win, finished ninth.

Next on the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series’ schedule is the 2010 Goody’s Fast Pain Relief 500 to be held at the Martinsville Raceway in Virginia, on the 28th of March, to see if Johnson can continue his fantastic streak.
