Odds & Preview For 2010 V8 Australian Grand Prix

The 2010 V8 Supercars World Championship Series is certainly hotting up as Garth Tander surprisingly dominated last week’s Clipsal 500, and this week will no doubt draw some more controversy, as the 2010 V8 Australian Grand Prix gets started.

Consisting of three races, the fourth leg of the series begins just after 6pm this evening, with two more races occurring, one on Saturday and one on Sunday.

Having won two of the opening three rounds of the Series, Jamie Whincup is topping the odds at $2.30. Despite having a disappointing appearance in the 2010 Clipsal 500, Whincup still looks set to succeed at the weekend, with seemingly only one threat on the track.

Garth Tander is the only driver up alongside Whincup in the odds at $2.50.

Garth Tander is the only driver up alongside Whincup in the odds at $2.50. After dominating the track last weekend, Tander will be looking to continue his good run at the 2010 Australian Grand Prix, and will no doubt give Whincup a run for his money.

James Courtney is coming into the race as Ford’s best bet at $5.50. Finishing second in both races last weekend, Courtney will be looking at this weekend for his first top-spot finish.
